Slovenian operator Elit'Avia has expanded further with the addition of seven aircraft to its fleet, offering customers an increased choice of aircraft and greater availability. It will be offering these aircraft alongside its Travel Services programme. This expansion follows the opening of offices in Malta in September and the receipt of a Maltese AOC in May 2014.

The latest aircraft include a Challenger 604, a Challenger 300, a Hawker 800XP based in Ghana, a 2014 G450, a G550 and two G650 aircraft that will serve Elit'Avia's principal customer segment in the EMEA.

The company formed eight years ago and is now responsible for 20 charter and management aircraft.

“This expansion of our fleet will help us meet strong, growing demand, especially in the Middle East and Africa,” says ceo Michel Coulomb. “Our activity in this region alone increased fourfold between 2011 and 2013, and is on track to grow further this year. With the addition of the new Gulfstream 650 aircraft to our charter fleet, we are well positioned to meet the demand for super long range activity in this region.”
