Leviate Air Group is accelerating its US-wide expansion through managed-fleet growth, the launch of a dedicated advisory group and plans to enter Part 125 airliner operations. The Dallas, Texas-based company is broadening its integrated aviation platform to serve aircraft owners, corporations, executive teams and charter clients.
The Leviate Air Group expansion brings together aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft management, charter and advisory services, supporting a wider range of private and corporate aviation needs.
Leviate has added two Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft to its managed fleet in recent weeks. One is based at John Wayne airport in Santa Ana, California, and the other at Dallas Love Field.
The additions strengthen Leviate's nationwide presence and its ability to serve aircraft owners and charter clients across the US. With operations extending to both the East and West Coasts and headquarters in Dallas, the company continues to expand the reach of its aviation services.
Leviate is also preparing to launch Part 125 airliner operations, with an initial Boeing 767 under contract with the company. The plans centre on managing and operating the VIP 767 under a Part 125 structure for the aircraft owner. The October announcement also identifies potential future exploration of Part 121 operations as timing and opportunity align. Part 125 operations remain planned, and Part 121 is a potential future opportunity.
Leviate has also launched an advisory group led by Eric DuFay, a former aviation executive at Netflix. DuFay spent April 2021 to the present as Global Charter Manager at Netflix, before joining Leviate's new advisory group. The group will provide strategic guidance to corporations, executive teams and flight departments. Its work will include evaluating industry-wide aviation solutions that align with each client's operational needs, business objectives and travel requirements.
Luis Barros, founder and CEO of Leviate, describes the expansion as a reflection of the team's dedication and the company's integrated approach: “The expansion of our aviation ecosystem into advisory services, Part 125 operations and a rapidly growing nationwide charter fleet is a testament to the dedication of our team members and integrated corporate approach. We're building capability and flexibility for clients while staying focused on safe, well-structured operations and long-term value.”
Leviate's operating certificate is held by World Class Jet, trading as Leviate Jet Management under an AOC. Leviate acquired World Class Jet (then trading as Starbase Jet), including its Part 135 air carrier certificate, in July 2017, and rebranded the entity as Leviate Air Group in 2018.
The fleet additions, advisory group launch and planned airliner operations extend the capabilities available through Leviate's coordinated service offering.
Barros concludes: “This aircraft is available for charter. It was a Part 125 acquisition alongside our managed client's acquisition of the 767. As we get operations running, we plan to explore Part 121 in the second half of 2027.
“The Part 125 was previously operated by a Houston-based company but will be transferred 100 per cent to Leviate Air Group. The 125 is renamed Leviate Airways and comes with the existing flight crew, flight attendant group and maintenance staff already familiar with the machine. We will be staffing around them to strengthen the dispatch staff and eventually prepare for expanded operations into more Part 125 aircraft or eventually into 121.”
