Prima Air approved for Bombardier and Gulfstream projects
The approved airframe capabilities at Prima Air cover the Gulfstream G650ER, G550, GV and GIV, as well as the Bombardier Global 5000. Its power plant capabilities include BR and Tay 611-8 engine models.
Prima Air has a 50,000 sq ft facility.

Prima Air's maintenance facility at Hollywood Burbank airport in Los Angeles has been certified by the FAA as a Part 145 repair station. The facility has received approval to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations on specified Gulfstream and Bombardier business aircraft and power plants. The certification marks a significant expansion of aviation services at Prima Air, adding in-house maintenance capabilities to its existing private charter and aircraft management operations.

The 50,000 sq ft facility is centrally located in the Los Angeles region and is positioned to support business aircraft operators, owners, management clients and corporate flight departments throughout southern California.

The approved airframe capabilities at Prima Air cover the Gulfstream G650ER, G550, GV and GIV, as well as the Bombardier Global 5000. Its power plant capabilities include the BR725A1-12, BR700-710C4-11, BR700-710A2-20, BR700-710A1-10 and Tay 611-8 engine models. All services will be performed within the scope of the company's FAA-approved operations specifications, capability list and applicable technical data.

By supporting both airframe and power plant maintenance for these large-cabin business aircraft, Prima Air can provide more centralised technical support, streamline maintenance coordination and reduce the need to reposition aircraft between multiple service providers. These capabilities are intended to help operators minimise downtime and maintain greater flexibility in fleet planning and flight operations.

“FAA Part 145 certification is an important milestone for Prima Air,” says Lina Tullberg, president and chief executive officer. “Our objective is to provide aircraft owners and operators with responsive, compliant and dependable maintenance support. Our Burbank location, dedicated facility and experienced technical team allow us to support the safe and efficient return of aircraft to service.”

The certification strengthens integrated platform at Prima Air across private charter, aircraft management and maintenance services, providing Gulfstream and Bombardier customers with coordinated support from a strategically located southern California facility.
