By introducing SAF, and specifically biofuel, to helicopter operators and at our plants, Safran is reducing CO2 emissions at both. Safran engines are already fully certified to operate on up to 50 per cent sustainable fuel.
ADAC rescue rotorcraft flies on 40 per cent SAF

Biofuel fuelling ADAC Luftrettung's H145 is a second-generation biofuel, the SAF of choice of the aviation industry, which significantly reduces CO2 emissions because it is produced from residual and waste materials.
