Terna of Italy has placed an order for an AW109 Power light twin helicopter. The aircraft, which will perform electricity infrastructure monitoring, will be delivered in 2015.

Bristow Helicopter's search and rescue crew based at Sumburgh airport has completed more than 150 missions, rescued over 40 individuals, and assisted an additional 120 persons in its first 12 months of operations.

London-based Route 1 Aviation is launching a jet card and fractional programme which seeks to attract regular fliers. The programme is a joint venture with AirGo, which will use the German operator's AOC and a core fleet of four Piaggio Avantis.
