Sean P. Duffy's flight at Beta Technologies accompanies a federal programme that will broaden advanced air mobility testing across 26 states.

Back-to-back extreme weather demonstrations in Florida and the northeast have tested charging infrastructure, pilot training and repeated regional flight operations.

With a maximum demonstrated range of 336 nautical miles and a payload capacity of up to 560kg, the aircraft is well matched to the high-frequency regional routes that define Loganair's Scottish network.
