Tamarack partners with 4Air to offer carbon offset programme
CJ-series customers can now opt into a verified emissions-offset scheme through 4Air, aligning sustainability with performance upgrades.

Tamarack Aerospace has announced a partnership with 4Air, the first and most comprehensive sustainability rating programme dedicated to private aviation, aimed at further reducing emissions associated with flying. Under the new initiative, Tamarack’s clients can now independently opt into the 4Air programme, in which 100 flight hours will be carbon neutral with the use of carbon offsets.

“Tamarack is committed to reducing our environmental impact in a responsible and effective manner, and we are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to join us in promoting sustainability,” says Jacob Klinginsmith, president of Tamarack. “4Air’s validation of efforts to offset emissions provides confidence in the steps that are taken, ensures the transparency of these steps and affirms their positive impact on our climate.”

The programme is available to clients purchasing Tamarack’s Active Winglets for the Cessna CJ1, CJ2 and CJ3 airframes, including the M2 and CJ3+, which are still in production.

”Our customers aren’t just looking for performance upgrades; they’re looking to make a difference,” says Eric Cunningham, Tamarack’s vice president of sales. “By offering a way to offset flight hours through 4Air, we’re giving them a simple, verifiable way to support sustainability alongside the fuel-saving benefits of Active Winglets.”

4Air’s carbon offset programme provides a simplified and verifiable path to mitigating the environmental impact of the aviation activities of Tamarack’s clients. The process includes an initial assessment of the carbon emissions for the participating aircraft, followed by the acquisition and retirement of carbon credits. These credits, which meet industry-leading standards and 4Air’s own rating guidelines, are used to fund verified real-world projects designed to offset aviation-related emissions.

“Tamarack’s commitment to reducing aviation emissions aligns perfectly with our mission at 4Air,” says Kennedy Ricci, president of 4Air. “Its innovative winglet technology already reduces fuel burn and emissions, and this programme gives operators a path to go even further by offsetting the environmental impact of their operations in a credible and transparent way.”
