Tamarack Aerospace has priced Tamarack AirConnect, its in-flight broadband connectivity system for the Cessna Citation 525, 525A and 525B, and is accepting deposits to convert existing reservations into priority installation slots. The Sandpoint, Idaho manufacturer's pricing follows strong operator demand since the product's introduction in May, with reservations secured across a broad cross-section of the Citation CJ community.

Expedited installation is priced at $84,000, with the aircraft back in service within three business days. Standard installation costs $79,000 and is completed within five business days. A fully refundable deposit of $12,500 secures a priority installation slot, returned in full if circumstances change.

“We've been flying with the system since March, and it's exactly what I was hoping for. It just works. It's always on, it's fast and I don't have to think about it. That's a big step forward from anything we've had before,” says the Citation CJ1 owner and pilot who volunteered his aircraft to support the certification effort.

The reservations we've secured reflect genuine demand from experienced Citation pilots who understand the value of a certified, permanently installed broadband system. We're moving through FAA certification with confidence, and we look forward to putting Tamarack AirConnect on the first certificated aircraft.”

Tamarack's STC application is progressing through FAA review. AirConnect has been in flight trials on a Citation CJ1 since March 2026, validating installation procedures and in-flight performance across a range of operational conditions, and a second customer aircraft has joined the trial programme to expand the validation dataset. Upon STC issuance, installations will begin at Tamarack-authorised service facilities in deposit-priority order. AirConnect is a permanently installed, aerodynamically optimised system with a fairing-enclosed antenna assembly providing continuous sky coverage through all phases of flight, and operators select and contract their own LEO broadband service provider separately.
