In January 2026, Florian Kohlmann was appointed to the executive board as head of aircraft maintenance, while Dennis Klose will soon assume the position of director of MRO at Atlas' Bremen location.

Special mission aircraft are used for airborne ISR, maritime patrols, border control, SAR, flight inspections, air ambulance services, atmospheric research, aerial surveys, training and government flights.

The certified installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna system is now available for the CJ1+ and the Phenom 300 at Atlas Air Service's locations in Bremen and Augsburg in Germany and Altenrhein in Switzerland.
