Atlas Air Service is strengthening the management structure of its business jet maintenance division, setting the course for further growth and an even stronger focus on customer service.

In January 2026, Florian Kohlmann was appointed to the executive board as head of aircraft maintenance. In this role, he will be responsible for the strategic development as well as marketing and sales activities in this segment for the entire Atlas group, which includes Augsburg Air Service in Germany and AAL in Switzerland. At the same time, Kohlmann will remain managing director of Augsburg Air Service, ensuring close coordination between the locations in Bremen, Augsburg and Altenrhein, Switzerland.

In addition, Dennis Klose will assume the position of director of MRO at the Bremen location. In this role, he will focus in particular on further developing operational processes and contributing to increased efficiency.

The goal of the expanded management structure is to optimise processes across all locations and consistently align them with customer needs. Through closer collaboration between the Bremen, Augsburg and Altenrhein locations, synergies will be leveraged strategically to further enhance the performance of the entire group.

Atlas Air Service is pursuing the clear goal of offering its customers an even more comprehensive and high-performance range of services from a single source and further strengthening its position as a reliable partner in the aviation industry.
