The partnership with GLH is intended to help establish the operational infrastructure needed as Horizon Aircraft advances the Cavorite X7 toward commercialisation, combining MRO, aircraft operations and pilot training.

In July 2026, wind tunnel testing began on small coupon samples that feature UofT's ice protection technologies, marking the first step in evaluating the viability of these technologies on the Cavorite X7.

The addition of Cavorite X7s into V-Star's fleet will significantly reduce medevac response times and patient transfers, and search and rescue missions can be executed faster and more cost-efficiently.
