Horizon teams with Mocellin for X7 refinement
International mobility designer Andrea Mocellin has helped Horizon Aircraft reimagine both interior and exterior of its hybrid-electric concept.
Horizon Aircraft describes the X7 as focused on performance, range and flexibility.

Horizon Aircraft has partnered with mobility designer Andrea Mocellin to refine the design of its Cavorite X7 hybrid-electric eVTOL. Mocellin, who has worked with Lilium, Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Pininfarina, brings experience in engineering, aerodynamics and aesthetics.

The Cavorite X7 is being developed to offer long range, high performance and flexible operations. Mocellin will help improve its exterior proportions, form and key features to balance functionality with visual appeal. Horizon Aircraft says this design effort will also enhance aerodynamics and efficiency.

The interior is to be reworked for adaptable layouts that prioritise comfort and usability without losing performance. CEO Brandon Robinson said working with Mocellin would help them “elevate the aircraft’s design and reinforce our commitment to world-class innovation in eVTOL technology”.

Mocellin called the collaboration “a unique opportunity”, adding: “Our goal is to create an aircraft that is both performance-driven and instantly recognisable, setting a new benchmark in the industry.”

This work forms part of Horizon Aircraft’s efforts to position the Cavorite X7 as a standout option in the future of sustainable aviation.
