Elliott ready to install latest Wi-Fi on Learjets
An Elliott Aviation STC applies to new Wi-Fi installations and allows for updates to existing installations that cover the bands A, B, G, N and AC. The company is offering it on a wide range of Learjets and the Hawker 750.
Wi-Fi installations can either take place at an Elliott facility, or the STC can be purchased by other dealers for $5,000 for a one-time usage.

Elliott Aviation, which has facilities in Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, has added multiple Learjet models to its Wi-Fi STC. The FAA STC covers the activation and use of Wi-Fi products and allows for blanket approval of the activation of newer bands such as AC. The new models include all variants of the Learjet 60, 55, 36, 35, 31, 29, 28, 25, and 24. In addition to these models, the new STC applies to the Hawker 750.

The certificate applies to new installations and allows for updates to existing installations that cover the bands A, B, G, N and AC. In addition to the new airframes, the STC covers the Lear 40/40XR/45/45XR/70/75, Hawker 800/800XP/850XP/900XP/1000, Beechjet 400A, Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP, King Air 200/300 series, Astra, Phenom 100/300, Citation 500/550/S550/560/560XL/650 Series and TBM. Installations can either take place at an Elliott Aviation facility, or other dealers can purchase an STC for one-time usage at $5,000 each.

“Our engineering team is continually evolving to fit the needs of more business aircraft operators,” says Mark Wilken, vice president of avionics programmes and operational logistics at Elliott Aviation. “This STC has been a proven solution, and we are happy to be able to offer it to many different Learjet customers.”
