Cessna Citation - Today's ambition. Tomorrow's success.

Totals and company lists below filtered for North America only. Adjust site filter for other regions.

Overview

The ACJ319 is the corporate jet version of the A319, in turn a shortened derivative of the A320. European JAA certification and entry into service for the A319 was achieved in April 1996, and the ACJ was approved by the FAA in 2002. It was renamed ACJ319 in May 2011.

The ACJ319 has a range of approximately 6,000 nm thanks to the incorporation of removable extra fuel tanks that are installed in the cargo compartment. This means it can fly nonstop for over 15 hours, taking between 19 and 50 passengers from Los Angeles to Tokyo, Hong Kong to London or Dubai to Sydney.

The ACJ319neo is an eight passenger variant. The lower fuel burn of its CFS LEAP or Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines provides additional range along with lower engine noise. It is offered with up to five additional centre tanks. The ACJ319neo completed a first flight on 25 April, 2019 and was certified by EASA on 9 July, 2019.
