Schubach registers a range of aircraft for coast-to-coast
The acquisition of a G650ER, two Sovereigns and a G200 further augments the company's charter fleet of aircraft that ranges from light jets to ultra-long range, providing solutions for any client mission.

Schubach Aviation, a bi-coastal private jet charter operator headquartered in southern California with offices in New York City, continues to advance its US presence with the addition of four new super midsized and ultra-long range aircraft to its charter fleet.

The acquisition of a Gulfstream G650ER, two Citation Sovereigns, and a second Gulfstream G200 further augments the company's charter fleet of aircraft that ranges from light jets to ultra-long range, providing solutions for any client mission. The strategic enhanced fleet presence in Florida's Gulf Coast, Los Angeles and Orange County, California further supports the 35-year-old operator's coast-to-coast growth strategy and the strong client demand for on-demand charter services with unlimited global reach.

“With these strategic fleet additions, Schubach is further expanding our service to nationwide and international audiences. The addition of the G650ER enables us to fly passengers to virtually anywhere in the world, oftentimes non-stop, and increasing our super-mid footprint in southern California ensures the best options for our established SoCal client base,” says Schubach Aviation co-owner and CEO Kimberly Herrell. “We are excited about our strong start in 2026 as we continue to focus on delivering our signature high-touch client experience and operational integrity at every level.”

Schubach has strengthened its East Coast presence, following the launch of a New York City office in May 2025, adding an aircraft with intercontinental capability based at Naples Municipal in Florida.

The G650ER, the extended range version of the G650, is one of Gulfstream's largest and fastest business jets. At top speed, the 13-passenger jet flies at nearly the speed of sound and holds the current world record for the longest non-stop flight by a purpose-built business jet, flying 8,379 nm from Singapore to Tucson, Arizona in April 2019.

The operator has also signficantly grown its footprint in southern California, where the company has been headquartered since 1992, with aircraft based at Van Nuys, Hollywood Burbank and John Wayne airports.

The Citation Sovereign is based at Van Nuys and a further aircraft of the same type is based at John Wayne in Orange County, California. The Sovereign combines comfort with long-range capability, making it an excellent value for non-stop travel from coast to coast. Plus, its high elevation and short field performance are well-suited to mountain destinations including Aspen, Jackson Hole and Bozeman.

A Gulfstream G200 will be based at Hollywood Burbank in Los Angeles: with a range of roughly 3,400 nm, the super mid-sized Gulfstream G200 is specifically designed for travelling long distances in reliable comfort and safety. It's known for its exceptional performance and fuel economy, plus a spacious, largest-in-class 6'3” tall, 868 cubic ft cabin and 10 passenger seating confiduration.

“As we've grown, so has the demand for our management and aircraft acquisition services. We're thrilled to have the confidence of our clients to manage their complex transactions, including leading the acquisition of a G650ER,” reveals Trish Gentile, vice president of business development. “Our 35-year track record of the highest safety standards, combined with a team of seasoned industry experts, is something we're incredibly proud of, and it's what sustains our continued growth.”

Schubach Aviation is headquartered at McClellan-Palomar airport in Carlsbad, California, with offices in New York City, and also maintains a fleet presence in Scottsdale, Arizona. The charter operator has achieved unprecedented growth under the leadership of CEO Kimberly Herrell, who acquired the company in January 2020. Top third-party safety ratings, including Wyvern, IS-BAO and ARGUS, a diverse, modern fleet, organisational investments and premier aircraft management and acquisition services have elevated Schubach Aviation to one of the pre-eminent operators in the industry.
