Hatzolah strengthens aeromedical connectivity on G550
The installation enables continuous low-latency links to ground medical teams while extending global connectivity across long-range missions.

Hatzolah Air Aviation Rescue is equipping its Gulfstream G550 with the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna following the award of a Federal Aviation Administration supplemental type certificate covering GIV, GIV-X, GV and GV-SP series aircraft.

The first installations were completed side-by-side and also included a G450 owned by a private customer. The installations are designed to maximise high-speed broadband service to support inflight productivity entertainment and mission-critical connectivity.

Gogo Galileo leverages the Eutelsat OneWeb enterprise-grade Low-Earth-Orbit satellite network to deliver uninterrupted and consistent connectivity across global routes. Hatzolah Air selected the Gogo Galileo hardware for its connectivity performance redundancy and ability to support live medical data links between aircraft and ground teams during aeromedical missions.

“We are excited to partner with Gogo in bringing this product to market for Gulfstream owners,” says Brad Bruce president and CEO of Pentastar Aviation. “The speed and coverage combined with the integration abilities truly make the Gogo Galileo HDX an exceptional one-of-kind solution. We'd also like to thank our launch customers for their partnership in bringing the antenna to the skies. Hatzolah's ability to utilise the system to stay connected to live medical data on the ground during its lifesaving missions is particularly unique and we are humbled to be a small part of its incredible operation.”

The HDX antenna is designed as an upgrade path from Avance systems and adds redundancy flexibility and global coverage supported by round-the-clock technical support.

“Owners of these Gulfstream aircraft can now optimise our advanced technology solution for best-in-class connectivity through these latest STCs,” says Michael Skou Christensen chief commercial officer of Gogo. “In addition to future-proofed connectivity operators equipping their aircraft will benefit from added value services including live round-the-clock technical support customised training cybersecurity products and the ability to maintain pace with future connectivity developments.”
