Textron adds GE Aerospace to LinxUs FDM options
Cessna Citation and SkyCourier operators using the AReS system have been given access to a fourth data analysis provider.
The system supports wireless data transfers with no extra equipment needed.

Textron Aviation has expanded its Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) service for Cessna Citation business jets and the Cessna SkyCourier. Customers using its LinxUs ecosystem can now opt to transfer flight data through GE Aerospace’s C-FOQA programme.

Senior vice president of customer support Brian Rohloff says: “Adding GE Aerospace as a Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) provider offers Cessna owners even more flexibility to select a service provider that best fits their needs, providing them with the best possible flight data monitoring.”

Textron’s LinxUs FDM platform now offers four third-party providers: GE’s C-FOQA, Acron Aviation’s Flight Data Connect, ForeFlight’s Flight Data Analysis and Safran Electronics & Defense’s Cassiopée. The data is transferred wirelessly with no added hardware.

The wider LinxUs brand gives users access to real-time services. Its fault isolation system enables operators to monitor systems, optimise procedures and receive instant data during in-flight events, allowing Textron support staff to deploy resources in advance.
