SkyTrac secures STCs for DLS-140 on multiple aircraft
The Iridium Certus 100 solution is now certified for Sikorsky S92A, Bell 206 and Bell 407, with more approvals expected by the end of 2025.
More than 400 of SkyTrac’s DLS-140 units were delivered last year, with further deployments planned for 2025.

SkyTrac Systems has received its first supplemental type certifications (STCs) for the DLS-140, its Iridium Certus 100 connectivity solution. The system, which delivers up to 88 Kbps via the Iridium satellite network along with 3G/4G LTE and Wi-Fi capabilities, has been certified for the Sikorsky S92A, Bell 206 and Bell 407. Additional STCs for Airbus, Leonardo and Textron aircraft are expected by the end of 2025.

“The availability of the DLS-140 will benefit our customers seeking a lightweight but powerful connectivity solution,” says Iain Ronis, SkyTrac's director of product development. “We look forward to expanding availability across multiple airframes soon.”

The compact and versatile DLS-140 can be used as a standalone unit for mission-critical operations or integrated with SkyTrac’s ISAT-200A to support flight tracking, voice communications and data offloading.
