C&L integrates Starlink connectivity on ERJ 140
A supplemental type certificate amendment enables C&L Aviation Services to install Starlink on ERJ 140s, with future projects planned for additional Embraer models.
The installation allows Starlink connectivity across ERJ 140, 135, 145 and Legacy 600 aircraft.

C&L Aviation Services has completed a Starlink installation on an Embraer ERJ 140. The company, an authorised Starlink dealer, worked with Aerospace Design & Compliance LLC to amend its existing ERJ 135/145 STC to include the ERJ 140.

This update allows Starlink installation across ERJ 140, 135, 145 and Legacy 600 aircraft. “Developing this STC and installing Starlink on ERJ aircraft points C&L in the right direction for future connectivity support,” says C&L Aviation Services avionics sales manager Charlie Carrol.

Starlink provides satellite-based connectivity with speeds of 220+ Mbps for downloads and 25+ Mbps for uploads, supporting streaming, video calls and messaging.

C&L Aviation Group offers aircraft and engine sales, leasing, parts support, maintenance, refurbishment and teardown services. It operates from Bangor, Maine, with offices worldwide.
