Eco-friendly charter app extends Luxaviation offering
Developed in-house, the app enables live charter travel management and is totally customisable. Users can offset carbon, book empty legs, adopt SAF, track bookings and access detailed aircraft specs.
The app enables live chat with the Luxaviation charter teams, even during a flight.

Luxaviation Group has successfully launched its live charter travel management app, which offers the options to carbon offset flights and book empty leg flights on aircraft that would otherwise fly empty. Moreover, customers may choose to adopt sustainable aviation fuel, which helps reduce up to 80 per cent in CO2 emissions over the lifecycle of fuel.

The app comes after the launch of its online platform in September 2022 and has been fully designed in house. It brings innovative features such as the option to live chat with, and ask questions to, the Luxaviation charter teams, even during a flight, and the empty leg availability booking system through which first-time jet customers can book a private jet at a lower cost.

It also draws on the existing features of the online platform such as booking tracking from confirmation to arrival, the option to fully customise the flying experience, as well as the access to aircraft’s detailed specifications.

Chief information officer Pieter Steyn says: “Responding directly to market needs, we have developed this technology in house so that it is totally customisable to react to the charter demands. We are leading the market during an exciting time for business aviation, as advancement in technology allows us to truly understand the behaviours of our customers. I am thankful for the team and their hard work, which helps advance our efforts to strive for excellence in the private aviation sector.”

The online platform has become a key tool for Luxaviation’s new and existing users since September 2022.
