Polaris welcomes sales hires and is made Paragon Diamond Partner
Linda Hirschfeld and Salvador Pettit have joined Polaris Aero on the sales side, helping to find the best solutions to customers’ safety issues. The company has also been named Diamond Partner by the Paragon FBO network.

Scottsdale, Arizona-based aviation safety software company Polaris Aero has welcomed two sales executives to its team: Linda Hirschfeld and Salvador Pettit.

Hirschfeld has more than 10 years of business aviation experience at MedAire, a Phoenix-based leader in international medical assistance and travel safety service. She served MedAire in a number of business development roles, building numerous aviation-centred client relationships on the US east coast.

“With her extensive knowledge of the aviation safety industry, and having some deep background with many of Polaris Aero's existing customers, Linda will be a great asset to our company,” says vice president of aviation services Steve Bruneau.

Likewise, Pettit has more than 14 years of experience in aircraft and helicopter operations, having served numerous aviation companies in both the US and in Latin America.

"Salvador joins Polaris Aero with a wealth of knowledge about the Part 135 charter business as well as maintenance operations,” adds Bruneau. “Because of his roots in Argentina, he'll be an excellent resource for our growing customer base in Latin America.”

The company has also been presented with the annual Diamond Partner award by FBO and handling agent network Paragon Aviation Group. The award honours a key vendor in its exclusive Strategic Partner programme.

Polaris Aero is an industry leader in safety management systems, providing users with software that is simple, meaningful and seamless. Founded in 2007, the company provides intelligence software to simplify and streamline safety for line personnel, safety managers and operation management. Its VOCUS cloud-based platform apps offer comprehensive SMS e-learning, advanced risk assessment and next-generation safety management systems.

“This is a huge honour since Paragon Member FBOs and Paragon Preferred flight departments overwhelmingly voted for Polaris Aero. We are proud to recognise this outstanding vendor that customers trust and value,” says Paragon president Megan Barnes.

Strategic Partners was launched in 2019 to give Paragon Preferred customers access to carefully-vetted industry vendors, offering exclusive pricing for all of their business needs. The Strategic Partners advisory board evaluates each company on criteria such as customer service, value and company history before they can join the programme.

The Paragon Network is a membership of elite FBOs and international handling agents. Paragon Aviation Group performs a comprehensive audit of the facilities and service offered to ensure the quality of the member base before any FBO joins the network.
