The hybrid-electric aircraft is believed to be the first fixed-wing aircraft without vertical takeoff capability to land at the Lower Manhattan heliport.

The first planned inter-emirate connection will be with Dubai, complementing the AAM network already being developed there and supporting the longer-term development of an interconnected ecosystem across the UAE.

Under the memorandum of understanding, Skyports will advise on route planning and vertiport locations across the prefecture.
