FlightSafety simulator for G700 gains European approvals
EASA and UK CAA certification allows FlightSafety to begin training Gulfstream G700 and G800 pilots from Farnborough.
Certification confirms the simulator meets regulatory standards for fidelity, performance and realism.

FlightSafety International has received certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the UK Civil Aviation Authority for its Gulfstream G700 full flight simulator, based at its Farnborough Learning Centre.

The simulator was engineered and manufactured by FlightSafety and has met both European and UK requirements for accuracy, fidelity and overall training performance. It will be used to deliver initial, recurrent and advanced pilot training for the Gulfstream G700 and G800 aircraft.

“The G700 simulator certification in Farnborough reinforces FSI’s long-standing commitment to supporting Gulfstream operators across Europe,” says David Mann, Farnborough centre manager at FlightSafety International. “It expands access to advanced training in the region, giving pilots more access to realistic, world-class training that meets the highest regulatory standards.”

FlightSafety has operated in Europe for nearly 50 years, and Farnborough remains one of its key training hubs. The centre supports a broad mix of business aviation clients and continues to expand its capabilities to meet international demand. The certification follows earlier confirmation of FlightSafety’s plans to expand the Farnborough site.
