AMAC secures Saudi GACA approval extension
The Saudi regulator has added new airframe and engine ratings, allowing Amac Aerospace to support CL-600-2B16 aircraft powered by CF34-3B engines.
Securing the extended GACA approval is a significant accomplishment.

AMAC Aerospace has received an extension to its existing approval from the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), expanding the Basel-headquartered VIP completions and MRO provider’s maintenance capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The extended approval includes new ratings for the Bombardier CL-600-2B16 airframe and the General Electric CF34-3B engine. AMAC’s existing GACA approval already covers a broad mix of aircraft, including the Boeing 737 series, 747-4J6, Airbus A330-243, A310-304, A318, A319, A320 and A340 families, the Gulfstream G-1159, G-1159A, G-1159B, G-IV, GV, GV-SP, G350 and G450, and Bombardier BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A.

The company can now provide maintenance support for HZ-registered Bombardier CL-600-2B16 aircraft powered by General Electric CF34-3B engines, expanding its service offering to a broader range of Bombardier business jets.

AMAC Aerospace says that the extended GACA approval reflects its commitment to continuous improvement, technical excellence and regulatory compliance, and highlights its dedication to providing world-class MRO services to clients throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
