Major milestones include the extensive build-out and operational fit-out of the facility, its formal inauguration in February 2026, the recruitment and training of a dedicated local team, and new ground support equipment.

Collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s GACA will support the validation of Vertical’s Valo aircraft type certification, build local regulatory capabilities and broaden exposure to technical expertise.

The company will act as the sole general aviation services provider at the airport, overseeing full terminal management and ground handling operations.
