C&L Aerospace has been selected by Heroux‑Devtek, the landing gear, actuation systems and aerospace components OEM, as its factory‑authorised repair station for flutter dampers installed on Bombardier CRJ and Challenger 604/605/650 aircraft.
With this authorisation, C&L becomes the only provider approved to perform OEM‑specified repair and testing using OEM parts, OEM manuals and full engineering support from Heroux‑Devtek. This ensures operators receive the highest reliability, consistent repair quality and faster turn times than non‑OEM repair options.
C&L’s FAA, EASA, UK CAA and TCCA‑approved component facility, operating under ISO9001:2015 and AS9110 certification, repairs thousands of similar hydraulic and flight‑control components each year. OEM‑trained technicians, a large inventory of OEM piece parts and an exchange pool support operators looking to minimise downtime and avoid AOG delays.
All flutter dampers are released with FAA Form 8130‑3 and EASA Dual Release as standard.
“This authorisation reflects our long partnership with Heroux‑Devtek and our investment in OEM‑approved tooling, test equipment and highly trained technicians,” says CEO Chris Kilgour. “Operators can now count on faster turn times and the consistent quality that an OEM‑supported programme can deliver.”
“C&L has demonstrated a strong track record in delivering reliable support to our customers, and this expanded authorisation reflects the confidence we have built together,” adds Marc-Olivier Gagnon, vice president, product support at Heroux-Devtek. “This step enhances our ability to provide consistent, OEM-backed repair solutions with the speed and quality our customers expect.”
Repairs are already underway at C&L’s Bangor, Maine facility.
