Sankaty Jet Capital launches to deliver aircraft financing solutions
The newly formed US business aviation finance platform aims to offer tailored lending solutions to underrepresented clients across the global business aircraft industry.

US-based business aviation finance platform Sankaty Jet Capital has officially launched to provide financing solutions for counterparties across the industry.

The company was founded by Ford von Weise, who will serve as chief executive officer. He brings more than 25 years of experience in business aviation finance, having previously served as director and head of aircraft finance and advisory services at Citi Private Bank, where he worked with ultra-high net worth and corporate clients globally.

Before joining Citi, von Weise was vice president of business aviation finance for Merrill Lynch Capital and GMAC Commercial Finance.

Sankaty Jet Capital was created to fill a long-standing gap in the business aviation finance marketplace,” says Ford von Weise, CEO of Sankaty Jet Capital. “Sankaty is focused on doing one thing exceptionally well: providing financing solutions to underserved market segments.”
