The key benefits of Tanis aircraft preheat include: maintaining temperature of 60 degrees Celsius above ambient, without the need for a thermostat and reducing internal engine corrosion and rust, wear and tear.
The TA3370-1 and TA3370-2 will power Tecnam aircraft.

Hartzell Propeller has been awarded STC approval for its Tanis Preheat System for Tecnam Traveller aircraft. Approvals cover the US and the EU.

Details for each Tecnam STC approval are as follows: TA3370-1: Fixed Wing Preheat System - 115 volt (USA centric); and TA3370-2: Fixed Wing Preheat System - 230 volt (EU centric).

“These newest Hartzell Propeller STCs for our Tanis brand preheat systems expand product coverage for the twin-engine Tecnam Traveller fleet,” says Jon Stoy, vice president of sales and marketing. “The Tanis product line provides protection and reliability for engine, avionics and batteries while increasing safety and the ability to fly year-round.”

The key benefits of Tanis aircraft preheat include: maintaining temperature of 60 degrees Celsius above ambient, without the need for a thermostat; reducing internal engine corrosion and rust; reducing wear and tear during cold weather start-ups; minimising start and run-up times; increased ramp and taxi safety; a boost to year-round aircraft utility; and is compatible with all engine monitors.
