GE Aerospace has authorised Spain's ITP Aero to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the CT7-2F1 engine, increasing support options for Bell 525 operators. As a value-added partner in GE Aerospace's TrueChoice programme, ITP Aero will offer OEM-backed maintenance solutions for the latest CT7 variant.
“Our collaboration with ITP Aero, which spans more than a decade, strengthens our commitment to providing enhanced support and service flexibility for Bell 525 operators worldwide,” says Elissa Lee, executive director of commercial turboshaft engines at GE Aerospace. “ITP Aero's expertise in engine maintenance will help ensure optimised availability and reliability for customers who rely on our CT7-2F1 engines.”
ITP Aero is the first MRO centre globally to service the CT7-2F1. The company already supports seven other GE Aerospace CT7 engine variants. “Adding CT7-2F1 engines into our support portfolio is an important milestone that allows us to continue with the execution of ITP Aero's strategic MRO growth roadmap,” says Alan Jones, executive director of MRO at ITP Aero.
The CT7-2F1, designed for the Bell 525, provides reliable power for commercial and mission-critical operations. With ITP Aero’s inclusion in the TrueChoice network, operators gain improved access to cost-effective service solutions supported by GE Aerospace’s OEM expertise.
