Bel Air Aviation has renewed its TrueChoice agreement with GE Aerospace, reaffirming the firms' commitment to providing world-class support for CT7-2E1 engines. Danish operator Bel Air was the first customer to enrol in GE Aerospace's TrueChoice flight hour services for the CT7-2E1, an engine maintenance programme designed to optimise the cost of ownership and ensure peak performance throughout the lifecycle of an operator's engine assets.

GE Aerospace's TrueChoice flight hour services provide comprehensive, customised maintenance solutions that help customers maximise engine availability and predictability while managing maintenance costs. Through this renewed agreement, Bel Air will continue to benefit GE Aerospace-backed support that enhances its fleet's reliability.

Founded in 1994, Bel Air has specialised since 2009 in offshore helicopter transport for oil and gas installations, offshore wind farms and maritime operations, primarily in the North Sea. With three CT7-powered AW189 helicopters in its fleet, Bel Air is a world leader in AW189 flight hours.

The GE Aerospace CT7-2E1 engine is the powerplant of choice for the majority of customers who operate the Leonardo AW149 and AW189 helicopters. The CT7-2E1 has proven itself with reliable operations in harsh and maritime environments while offering lower engine weight, lower fuel consumption and maintenance cost advantages compared to other engines in this power class.
