When Bel Air became the first customer on contract for GE's CT7-2E1 TrueChoice programme, it set the foundation for a new level of engine maintenance and support. It has operated offshore since 2009.

Bel Air Aviation, based in Denmark, specialises in flights to offshore oil and gas and offshore wind turbine sites. With two CT7-powered AW189 helicopters in its fleet, it is the world leader in AW189 flight hours.

Denmark's Bel Air Aviation and US helicopter giant Era Group are to team up, combining the European experience of the former with the fleet and support services of the latter.
