ExecuJet MRO Services becomes sole GE Passport ASC in Middle East
GE Aerospace has extended authorisation to ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East, making it the only approved service centre for GE Passport engines in North Africa and the Middle East.
Recent EASA approval enables ExecuJet to perform maintenance on European-registered Global 7500s.

ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East is now a GE Aerospace authorised service centre (ASC) for Passport engine line maintenance, supporting Global 7500 aircraft. This makes it the only ASC for this engine type in North Africa and the Middle East.

The company already serves multiple GE CF34 engine variants and operates from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. It also performs non-destructive testing on GE90 engines. Other ExecuJet locations in Australia and South Africa were previously appointed as Passport engine ASCs.

This approval follows recent EASA certification allowing ExecuJet to conduct line and base maintenance on European-registered Global 7500s. Additional approvals from other regulators are in progress.

ExecuJet’s ASC scope includes line maintenance, troubleshooting, component changes, borescope inspections and engine replacements. Nick Weber, regional vice president, Middle East at ExecuJet MRO Services, says: “All aircraft under a GE Passport engine maintenance and warranty programme must visit a GE ASC, including for engine changes and refits. We expect this GE certification to bring more Global 7500s to our MRO facility for heavy airframe maintenance checks, which often coincide with engine overhauls and inspections.”

ExecuJet has invested in tooling and equipment for Passport engines and has sent an engineer to GE Aerospace in Berlin for training.
