Chantilly Air Jet Center played a key role in supporting aviation traffic for the 2025 Presidential inauguration at Manassas Regional Airport, just 35 miles from Washington, D.C. The independent FBO, part of the Paragon Aviation Group network, managed 240 private jet arrivals and experienced an 80 percent rise in new customers during the high-profile event.
Operational support came from Paragon member Fargo Jet Center in North Dakota and Northeast Air in Portland, Maine. “We averaged a full staff of 35 employees per day throughout the five-day stretch, ensuring smooth operations for travellers from all corners of the country and beyond,” says general manager Jimmy Thate. He credits assistant general manager Josh Roy, customer service manager Hayden Tarver and line service manager Tony Thomas for their contributions to the effort.
Passengers and crew received complimentary meals from in-flight caterer First Chime, alongside the FBO’s full suite of services. Paragon VP of business development Julie O’Brien adds: “This is why independent FBOs join our network. Collaboration and additional teamwork make the difference.”
