NBAA Leadership Conference inspires professionals in Florida
Attendees gained leadership insights, connected with industry peers and engaged with thought leaders on the future of business aviation.
Attendees had the chance to engage with thought leaders on subjects such as communication, emotional intelligence and strategic decision-making.

The National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) 2025 Leadership Conference brought industry leaders together in Amelia Island, Florida, from January 27-30 for discussions on leadership, professional development and industrywide change. Following the theme “Simplify Your Leadership,” the event explored effective leadership strategies in a changing business aviation landscape.

The NBAA Business Aviation Management Committee (BAMC) hosted the event, featuring sessions with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Charles Duhigg, workforce expert Bruce Tulgan and accountability specialist Linda Galindo. Topics included communication, emotional intelligence and strategic thinking.

“This being my seventh year attending, I found the conference offered a perfect moment to recharge as a senior leader, recalibrate my thinking and prepare for the year ahead,” says Brian Campbell, executive vice president, global sales and marketing with StandardAero.

NBAA also introduced its second class of Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Fellows at the conference, recognising professionals committed to advancing industry standards. BAMC leaders also announced the 2025 Leadership Conference Scholarship recipients.

“The NBAA Leadership Conference gives professionals at every career stage an opportunity to refresh, refocus, and strengthen their commitment to excellence in business aviation,” says Jo Damato, CAM, NBAA senior vice president of events and professional engagement.

Next year’s conference will take place in San Antonio, Texas, from February 2-4, 2026.
