German AOC operator Luminair will soon take delivery of a second Cessna Citation, an XLS+, with a third aircraft of the same type due to arrive in April. The company operates a floating fleet and will be looking to maximise flight hours. “We are looking into some other options as well; we like to have commonality in our fleet, so these aircraft are a good fit to add to our existing XLS lineup,” says founder and CEO David Bergold.

“We are also excited to officially announce the delivery of three Falcon 900LX aircraft to our fleet this year, scheduled for Q2, Q3 and Q4. With the market remaining stable, our primary focus is on integrating these new aircraft seamlessly into our operations. To support this growth, we are actively recruiting skilled professionals, including flight attendants, first officers and captains, as well as key office staff in roles such as sales and dispatch. This expansion marks an important milestone for Luminair, and we look forward to building a strong, dynamic team to support our continued success.”

The company, which received its AOC in November last year, is actively expanding its social media presence on platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn to enhance brand awareness. Chief experience officer Julia Feddern explains: “On LinkedIn, we focus on recruitment updates, celebrating milestones and highlighting special moments that reflect our growth and achievements. Instagram, on the other hand, provides a closer look at our daily operations, showcasing our fleet and services through engaging visuals. Both platforms play a strategic role in attracting potential investors and fostering connections.

“The positive feedback we’ve received so far motivates us to further grow our presence in 2025. With plans to expand our fleet and build a team of approximately 55 people, social media will remain a key tool in supporting our recruitment efforts and overall growth strategy.”
