Citation 560XL with Garmin onboard arrives at Jet Air
As one of Garmin's leading retrofit partners, Elliott Aviation has completed more Garmin G5000 installations on the Citation 560XL than any other provider. The upgrade brings Jet Air's aircraft the latest avionics.
Jet Air seeks to consistently modernise its fleet.

US Part 135 Jet Air has taken delivery of its fourth Cessna Citation 560XL equipped with the Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck, courtesy of Elliott Aviation. The latest installation continues Jet Air's long-term strategy of modernising its charter fleet with the most advanced avionics technology available.

Matt Wolford, executive vice president and partner of Jet Air, says the upgrade is a key part of the company's long-term focus on performance, safety and operational dependability: “Modernising our Citation 560XL fleet is a critical investment in delivering the best reliability and safety for our passengers. Minimising downtime is essential for our fleet, and all four of our G5000 installations this year were completed on schedule. By combining Elliott's interior and paint touch-up services with each avionics upgrade, we were able to return each aircraft with the technology and appearance of a brand-new plane. Partnering with Elliott Aviation, a company with extensive experience in these installations, gave us the confidence that the work would be done right and on time.”

As one of Garmin's leading retrofit partners, Elliott Aviation has completed more Garmin G5000 installations on the Citation 560XL than any other provider. The upgrade brings Jet Air's aircraft the latest in avionics performance, including modern touchscreen displays, advanced navigation, enhanced safety features, synthetic vision and a fully integrated autopilot system designed to reduce pilot workload and improve dispatch reliability. The announcement follows Elliott Aviation's recently introduced incentive offering $75,000 off a Garmin G5000 installation for the first five Citation XLS+ operators to contract and deposit for an operator's trade-in avionics.

“This delivery reflects the strength of our relationship with Jet Air and our continued leadership as Garmin's most experienced retrofit dealer,” comments Michael Parrish, president of Elliott Aviation. “Helping operators modernise their aircraft while supporting them throughout the process is at the core of how we do business and represents the customer partnerships we value most.”
