Sirius rebrands as Stellar and relocates to US
The Swiss aviation startup has established a solid foundation for future innovation and sustainable aviation initiatives.
The company’s name change and move align with its commitment to innovation and goal of achieving carbon-free flight with the Stellar Jet.

Switzerland-based Sirius Aviation has rebranded as Stellar Aircraft and relocated its headquarters to the United States. The company, now registered in Delaware, plans to maintain its Swiss office as a hub for supporting global operations.

Stellar Aircraft commenced manufacturing of the Stellar Jet, a hydrogen-powered business jet with VTOL capabilities, on 7 January, 2025. The company has selected a trusted contractor to spearhead this vital phase, aiming to unveil a flying demonstrator in June to showcase its new technology.

In February this year, the company is set to reveal performance validation tests for its innovative hydrogen fuel tank. This technology is expected to surpass industry standards in energy density, safety and efficiency, playing a crucial role in advancing hydrogen-powered flight and carbon-free aviation.
