Victor app offers sustainable fuel for all private jet bookings
The company has launched an app enabling not-for-profit SAF to be purchased voluntarily across all its bookings.

Victor, a UAE-based global on demand jet charter platform, has introduced a booking app that allows its users the option of voluntarily utilising sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) across all its flights, regardless of aircraft type or departure airport.

At check-out, clients can use a slider feature to select how much fossil fuel they wish to replace with Neste MY SAF, which is made from renewable and sustainable sources and can result in a lifecycle carbon emission reduction of up to 80 per cent.

Toby Edwards, co-CEO of Victor, says: “As the leading on demand private jet charter company worldwide, we have a responsibility to raise awareness of SAF. Whether or not clients choose to buy it is at their discretion, but at least we have made it as easy as possible via our new app.”

The app’s launch has come just ahead of the UK government's consultation on reforming Air Passenger Duty (APD) for private jet flights. Victor has officially called for an exemption on APD for charter clients who choose to purchase SAF, aiming to encourage more voluntary SAF contributions in the UK.

In addition to its SAF integration, Victor's new app has also brought further transparency to its charter process by allowing clients to view key flight details before booking, including their chosen operator’s name, aircraft's tail number and actual photos of the aircraft.

The app is said to be the first in the world to be available in both English and Arabic, aimed at a surge in demand from the Middle Eastern market, where Victor has seen a 166 per cent growth in bookings since establishing its Abu Dhabi headquarters in April 2024. The app reflects the company’s ambition to revolutionise the $2 billion MENA private aviation market.
