The inspection was completed in seven weeks under the lead of Metrojet's own trained engineer, working alongside another engineer with significant Bombardier product knowledge, in the OEM Singapore facility.

Philippines-based MRO Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) recently completed its first 12 month inspection on a Bombardier Challenger 350. The MRO had added the corresponding Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) approval in January 2022.

The 12 month check included the modification of the power source for the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and flight data recorder (FDR), life raft overhaul, replacement of the fire extinguishers and ice detectors, and additional defect rectification.

“We provided complimentary hangar parking throughout the maintenance event. The inspection was completed in seven weeks under the lead of our own Metrojet trained engineer working alongside another engineer with significant Bombardier product knowledge and previous work experience in the OEM's Singapore facility,” says general manager Sarith Vaikuntan.

Metrojet managing director, MRO Dave Yip adds: “We offer our clients an attractive aircraft maintenance and parking alternative in Clark. Metrojet has a long term vision regarding business sustainability, and we work hard to develop our own people while benefiting from the knowledge and experience of our internationally diverse team. In this way, we can provide a sustainable and high-quality level of service to our customers.”

Established in 1997 as part of the Kadoorie Group, Metrojet provides all-inclusive aircraft management, charter, maintenance and aviation consultancy services to its growing business aviation customer base.
