Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management (CBM), a state-owned company responsible for business aviation at Beijing's Daxing International and Capital International airports, and ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China (ExecuJet Haite), have signed a binding agreement allowing ExecuJet Haite to provide ground handling support services at Beijing Daxing International airport.
Beijing Daxing International is now the primary international gateway to China and the region for business aviation. The airport's recent investment into business aviation includes an area of over 300,000 sqm for business aviation including FBO, business aviation MRO and parking ramp and hangars, making it Asia Pacific's largest business aviation centre.
Ground handling will now bolster ExecuJet Haite's already existing large MRO facility at Daxing airport, which includes a 5,000 sqm air-conditioned and heated hangar as well as ultra-modern office space and workshops. The hangar can accommodate eight mid-size to large business jets simultaneously. ExecuJet Haite will immediately begin to grow the ground handling team at Daxing and provide the same level of extensive line technician and customer support services that it performs at Beijing Capital International airport under a separate agreement signed two years ago.
CBM, along with ExecuJet Haite, provides high-level FBO services to business jets and travellers at Beijing Daxing International airport. The FBO itself is spread across three levels and includes 12 VIP rooms, offices and various lounges. The building has a dedicated channel for business jet travellers flying domestic, another channel for international and a third channel for special mission charters, including heads of state. The FBO's immense size caters for 85 aircraft parking spaces, as well as providing plenty of undercover space, as the FBO has four hangars dedicated to parking. The hangars and parking apron can accommodate both Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.
ExecuJet Haite already provides maintenance support to various OEMs and aircraft types using certifications from the CAAC, EASA, FAA and various other overseas national aviation authorities at Beijing Daxing, Beijing Capital and Tianjin airports.
Paul Desgrosseilliers, general manager of ExecuJet Haite, says: “Providing ground handling services at Beijing Daxing International airport is a further extension of our award-winning maintenance and line services, and demonstrates our unwavering commitment towards supporting our customers while in China. We will strive to continuously improve our ground handling services alongside CBM to make Daxing a world class entry point for business aviation with outstanding safe and efficient FBO and MRO services.”
