ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services in China has been recognised by AsBAA as Best MRO Provider at the Icons of Aviation Awards 2026, the fourth consecutive year the company has received an AsBAA MRO maintenance service award.
General manager Paul Desgroseilliers says: “This recognition is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our teams in Tianjin and Beijing, and to the trust our customers and partners place in us.
“Throughout 2026, we have continued to invest in our technical capabilities and expand our service offering, including securing additional regulatory approvals for the Gulfstream G700 and obtaining bonded maintenance approval at our Tianjin facility. These milestones reinforce our commitment to delivering reliable, internationally competitive and efficient maintenance services to business aviation operators in China and around the world. We thank AsBAA and our customers, partners and colleagues for their continued support.”
This latest accolade reflects ExecuJet Haite’s ongoing investment in capabilities to meet the evolving needs of business jet operators in China, across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. While 60% of its work is for China-registered aircraft, the rest of its business serves international customers; the bonded zone directly addresses their needs by significantly reducing costs and accelerating turnaround times.
In February this year ExecuJet Haite’s MRO centres in Tianjin and Beijing Daxing were FAA-approved to carry out line and base maintenance checks, up to and including 1A and 2C inspections, on G700s. Meanwhile, the Vietnam CAA has added the G700 to ExecuJet Haite’s list of existing approval scope.
The Qatar CAA has also certified the company to provide line and heavy maintenance for business jets registered in Qatar, including the G700. This certification is based on its previously obtained aircraft approvals from the FAA. The Qatari fleet extensively operates Gulfstream G650ER and G700 aircraft for high-end charter operations.
ExecuJet Haite will now provide comprehensive maintenance support for this model under FAA, QCAA, CAAV, Cayman and Bermuda approvals. This latest designation complements its existing status as a Gulfstream AWF for G650ER, G650, G550 and G280 aircraft.
The Tianjin facility also obtained bonded maintenance approval that month, allowing overseas aircraft spare parts, materials and equipment to remain duty-free while stored and used within the bonded area, subject to applicable customs arrangements. This helps simplify customs procedures, reduce customers’ tax exposure and shorten lead times for critical components, ultimately minimising aircraft downtime and improving operational efficiency.
