Switzerland-based operator Nomad Aviation has added a Global 5000 to its Swiss AOC, ready for charter with immediate effect. It has also welcomed a Falcon 8X and a Gulfstream G550 to its fleet of managed aircraft.

CEO Thomas Köhli says: “We are pleased to announce the continued growth of our fleet, especially in the long range aircraft segment. The Global 5000 combines range, speed, comfort and style, and is one of the most appreciated large cabin series in the heavy executive jet market segment.”

The Switzerland-based and registered Global 5000 has a non-stop range of 5,200 nm at a cruising speed up to Mach 0.89. Its 13 passenger, three zone cabin is custom designed and fully equipped. Fully berthable seats recline flat to create beds and the aircraft also features the latest satellite-based internet connectivity with Ka-band high-speed internet.

Nomad Aviation’s charter fleet now comprises seven aircraft: a Cessna CitationJet 2+, an Embraer Legacy 600, a Dassault Falcon 2000S, a Gulfstream G450, a Global 5000 and 6000 and an Airbus ACJ319.

“We are excited to provide our charter clients with now even more aircraft options than ever before," adds vice president aircraft management and sales Christoph Thurnherr. "Demand has been very strong in recent months, and this addition to our commercial fleet enables us to continue to serve our most discerning clients with just the right product, no matter what they need.”
