The DL150 is a critical part of the avionics upgrade supporting global satellite-based connectivity enabling Oceanic Controller-Pilot Data Link including ADS-C, FANS 1/A+ and ACARS services. It is globally compliant.
Latitude has been selected by Chicago Jet Group for its InSight display solution for Falcon 900B business jets.

Latitude Technologies, a Canadian provider of Iridium-based safety services solutions based in Victoria, British Columbia, has announced that its DL150 satellite data unit has been integrated by Chicago Jet Group (CJG), an Illinois Part 145 repair station, as a core connectivity element in its NextGen ProLink solution and respective STC. The DL150 is a critical part of the avionics upgrade supporting global satellite-based connectivity enabling Oceanic Controller-Pilot Data Link including ADS-C, FANS 1/A+ and ACARS services.

“We are very pleased to be working with Chicago Jet Group on this project. The DL150 has consistently proven itself a robust data satcom solution,” says Ray Larkin, executive aviation, Latitude Technologies. “This is an important element in bringing affordable FANS 1/A+ upgrade solutions to the executive jet operator.”

The NextGen ProLink upgrade meets the global compliance requirements for the Gulfstream G200, Falcon 50/50EX and Falcon 2000/2000EX. The overall upgrade is a cost effect and high-performance Dual FMS upgrade path for classic Dassault Falcon aircraft models and the Gulfstream G200.

“Upgrading to the FANS 1/A+ satcom data link with the high-performance Latitude DL150 is a proven winner for us that enables cost savings for operators on their avionics upgrade,” adds Mike Mitera, Chicago Jet Group general manager. “The DL150 is an undisputed leader in data link performance, and we look forward to our continued partnership with Latitude Technologies.”

Latitude has also been selected by Chicago Jet Group for its InSight display solution for Falcon 900B business jets.

In process of completing its FAA STC approval for the Insight display system and avionics upgrade on Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft, Latitude Technologies' data link and voice safety services solution will be added to CJG's STC for the new display system.

“Our data link and safety satvoice systems are central to achieving the FANS 1/A+ data link and long-range communication system (LRCS) satvoice capability on this STC,” Larkin shares. “With the approval of this STC, Latitude's DL150-00/ S200-012 package will become available to a wider range of aircraft operators.”
