C&L purchases three Saab 340Bs from Hokkaido
In early 2021, C&L concluded a deal to purchase 10 Saab aircraft from Japan Air Commuter. The company has followed this up by making a move for three more Saabs from HAC, arriving between now and next January.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, has signed a contract with Hokkaido Air System (HAC) in Japan to purchase the regional airline's three Saab 340B aircraft, which are set to be delivered between April 2021 and January 2022. This agreement marks the first Saab purchase for C&L since the conclusion of its 10 aircraft deal with Japan Air Commuter in early 2021.

“We're excited to be taking delivery of these Saab aircraft,” says Jameel Wazir, executive VP of C&L Aerospace. “Our years of experience with this aircraft enable us to match them with the right operator who will benefit from all it has to offer.”

C&L, headquartered in Bangor, Maine but with international offices in Australia and Europe, is one of the largest Saab 340 MRO facilities in the world and a dominant player in Saab 340 aftermarket support. Its comprehensive and proven Saab 340 sales and support services were key to the success of this agreement.
