Asian Sky Group has completed the sale of a 1992 Gulfstream GIV-SP to a US client following a two-year maintenance and management programme.
The project was delivered in close partnership with Crew Chiefs Corporation, which oversaw maintenance, CAMO planning and operational support to return the aircraft to service and position it for transition to its new owner.
A structured medium-term management framework was implemented to guide the aircraft through ownership restructuring, maintenance planning, regulatory compliance work and avionics upgrades. Operational coordination supported performance and delivery readiness throughout the process.
“Asian Sky Group is always a pleasure to work with. This long-term aircraft maintenance management project underscores our relationship with ASG and our commitment to partner with industry to provide support as needed,” says Mark Thibault, founder and chief executive officer at Crew Chiefs Corporation. “We exercised our TechConnect maintenance management programme to include aircraft records digitisation through Bluetail, close coordination with Gulfstream and Thornton Aviation in Van Nuys to the return to service and delivery support for the new owner.”
“We are tremendously proud to have facilitated what started with an ownership restructuring, proceeded to a meticulous yet smooth aircraft return to service programme and then finalised the project with the sale of the aircraft, achieving a satisfactory outcome for our client,” says Justin Yeung, sales and business development director at Asian Sky Group. “Thank you to Crew Chiefs and everyone who contributed to this journey; your collaboration and trust made a challenging task very rewarding.”
