DC upgrades Global 5000 with Gogo and Inmarsat
Thanks to an integrated intelligent cabin system, Global 5000 passengers can control the cabin environment with a single interface, following an upgrade performed by DC Aviation at its Stuttgart, Germany base.
One device can control the whole cabin.

Stuttgart-based DC Aviation Group has been able to successfully complete a major maintenance contract on schedule, after upgrading a Global 5000 with the Gogo Elite Smart Cabin System (SCS Elite), an Inmarsat SwiftBroadband high data rate service and a new satellite communication system.

With the integrated intelligent cabin system, passengers can control the cabin environment with a single interface. The Inmarsat SwiftBroadband high data rate system offers significantly improved data transmission rates, while the satellite communication system can also be adapted to today's standards.

VP of maintenance and CAMO Jürgen Sehne says: “With the installation of the Smart Cabin System, we offer our customers the highest level of functionality and comfort. Thanks to our network, we have products that are technologically state-of-the-art and our know-how enables us to install them in a wide range of aircraft types.”
