FlyingPro inaugurates first ALX in South America
FlyingPro has inaugurated its new training device with a ceremony to celebrate. Its Alsim ALX is the first such device to be available in South America.
Cutting the ribbon are FlyingPro CEO Gonzalo Mogollon, Solent president Simon Milne, Desarrollo de Negocios Quiport director Carlos Criado, Aviación Civil director Anyelo Acosta, Mayor of Quito Jorge Yunda and secretary of state Pablo Galindo.

Quito, Ecuador-based flight training academy FlyingPro has officially launched its Alsim ALX simulator in front of an audience of local and national press as well as government authorities. The ALX provides up to four classes of aircraft training, from single engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine up to medium category twin jets (generic B737/A320). It is designed and approved for ATPL, CPL/MCC in compliance with all current regulatory standards. It has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.

FlyingPro Aviation Academy is a subsidiary of US-headquartered Solent Freight, that chose the ALX back in April 2019.

This is the first time that such a device has been installed in South America. FlyingPro thus becomes a pioneer in the region and aims to place its students in the best airline companies. This innovative project will benefit the local economy but also the national aviation industry in Ecuador as the ALX will be used by national forces, such as police and civil aviation.
