Portuguese pilots to learn craft on AL250
After many years building a relationship with Alsim, Nortavia general manager Gonçalo Moreira says that buying an Alsim product was a simple decision.

Maia, Portugal-based pilot training and flight school Nortavia has invested in an Alsim AL250. The ATO is currently using a variety of light aircraft, as well as a Piper Seminole PA44 and a Tecnam P2006T.

The Alsim AL250 is a generic and compact simulator for single and multi engine piston (SEP/MEP reconfigurable) PPL, CPL and IR training. The device meets all current regulatory standards and responds to training requirements of smaller and mid-sized ATOs, flight schools and universities. With more than 30 devices installed worldwide, the AL250 has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save aircraft hours.

“After many years solidifying a relationship between the companies, with multiple encounters and meetings, the decision to acquire one of Alsim's simulators was not a matter of if, but just of when,” states Nortavia general manager Gonçalo Moreira. “As the necessity of investing in a simulator arrived, it was just a small step for us to go for Alsim's product, which has provided us with a guarantee of quality and adaptability, more than sufficient to advance without doubt.”

Alsim sales manager Nicolas de Lassus adds: “We would like to thank Nortavia's team and especially Captain Cassiano Rodrigues for his confidence in the Alsim team and product. It's another success for the AL250 simulator in Portugal and we are sure that it will enable the flight school to provide the most advanced level of CPL/IR training not only for Portuguese cadets but also for the cadets coming from abroad. We are looking forward to installing the simulator in Porto's region and to begin a successful cooperation between our two companies.”
