Sun-Air, parent company of Danish charter operator JoinJet, has received EASA approval to fit Garmin G5000 avionics in its Beechjet 400A and Hawker 400XP.

"We believe the G5000 upgrade is the only sensible option to future-proof our Beechjet fleet; it provides a lower operating cost, significantly reduces weight and makes us compliant with all of the upcoming requirements," says CEO Kristoffer Sundberg.

JoinJet has subscribed to a maintenance tracking and inventory management system from Traxxall Technologies. "Since we started using Traxxall we have been very pleased with its performance," says Sundberg. "We operate a diverse fleet of aircraft, ranging from a 32-seat Dornier to a six-seat Piaggio. Our missions are similarly varied and include VIP charter and air ambulance services.

"By making aircraft maintenance tracking more efficient, Traxxall helps to shorten unscheduled downtimes and maintenance milestones. It contributes to our high standards of safety, efficiency and service and I would not hesitate to recommend it."

JoinJet's services include executive ad hoc charter, corporate shuttles, air ambulance and aircraft management, and its fleet comprises two Dornier 328 Envoy jets, 16 Dornier 328s, three Hawker 4000s, two Hawker 800XP2s, a Piaggio Avanti and two Beechjet 400As.

"We are pleased to welcome JoinJet as a new client," states Traxxall regional sales director Blair Henderson. "The company has a rich 25-year heritage and its team has distinguished itself for operational excellence."
