Coptersafety is planning an expansion of its Helsinki facility, with additional training capacity from new Level D full flight simulators expected to be available in 2027 and 2028, subject to regulatory approvals and schedules.

The helicopter pilot training company secured an agreement with TRU Simulation for a second AW139 full flight simulator, which will be qualified to Level D and enter service in 2027.

The full flight simulator now features Phase 8 avionics and immersive training capabilities, allowing pilots to train in realistic environments and scenarios.
